HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE 2007 DUKE ELLINGTON JAZZ FESTIVAL
- More than 40,000 attended
- Over 100 musicians, including seven National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Masters and 10 Grammy Award winners performed
- 98% people randomly surveyed said they will attend in 2008
- 36 venues citywide and more than 20 organizations participated
- Promotional efforts reached over 7 million people in the Greater Washington Metropolitan area and nationally
- The DEJF website had more than 70,000 visitors
The Duke Ellington Jazz Festival is a project of Festivals DC, Ltd., a 501 (c)(3) non-profit educational organization. All contributions are tax-deductible in accordance with IRS Code Section 170.
